Les Tambours du Bronx se forment en 1987, dans les forges ouvrières de Varennes-Vauzelles. Depuis, leur démarche est celle d’une transgression rythmique constante, où la matière brute – le métal, les bidons, les mailloches – devient instrument de vie, de colère, de danse, de révolution intérieure. En presque quatre décennies, le groupe a fait résonner ses bidons aux quatre coins du monde, de l’Europe aux Amériques, de l’Afrique à l’Asie, et partagé la scène avec des géants comme Metallica, Sepultura, Page & Plant ou encore Johnny Hallyday. Chaque collaboration, chaque rencontre a nourri leur métamorphose musicale. Le spectacle Metal, plus dense, plus tranchant, où guitares, basse, batterie et chant se greffent à l’ossature rythmique. Les Tambours du Bronx formed in 1987 in the workers’ foundries of Varennes-Vauzelles. Since then, their approach has been one of constant rhythmic transgression, where raw materials—metal, cans, mallets—becomes an instrument of life, anger, dance, and inner revolution. Over nearly four decades, the band has made their oil drums resonate across the globe, from Europe to the Americas, from Africa to Asia, and has shared the stage with giants such as Metallica, Sepultura, Page & Plant, and even Johnny Hallyday. Every collaboration, every encounter has fueled their musical transformation. Les Tambours du Bronx wurden 1987 in den Arbeiterschmieden von Varennes-Vauzelles gegründet. Seitdem ist ihr Ansatz geprägt von einer ständigen rhythmischen Grenzüberschreitung, bei der das Rohmaterial – Metall, Kanister, Schlägel – zum Instrument des Lebens, der Wut, des Tanzes und der inneren Revolution wird.
