Aucun violoniste n’a marqué le monde du Jazz comme Stéphane Grappelli. David Abeijon (violon), Eddie Dhaini (guitare) et Aurélien Gody (contrebasse) rendent dans ce projet un hommage plein de tendresse à l’homme au violon dans une des formations qu’il affectionnait le plus. Des swings virtuoses aux douces ballades, ce trio de haut vol retrace les années marquant la carrière internationale de l’éternel parisien. GRAPPELLI MY LOVE, nous proposent un retour sur la période du trio Stéphane Grappelli, Marc Fosset, Jean-Philippe Viret, dans les années 90 (du siècle dernier). A cette occasion, Stéphane Grappelli sortait de son héritage swing manouche, en affirmant son propre style.  Claude Nougaro lui même écrivait :  "Stéphane Grappelli, grand des noires et des rondes, grâce à vous la France est un violon sur le toit du monde."

No violinist has marked the world of jazz like Stéphane Grappelli. In this project, David Abeijon (violin), Eddie Dhaini (guitar) and Aurélien Gody (double bass) pay tender tribute to the man with the violin in one of his most beloved formations. From virtuoso swings to gentle ballads, this high-flying trio retraces the years that marked the eternal Parisian?s international career. GRAPPELLI MY LOVE take us back to the period of the trio Stéphane Grappelli, Marc Fosset, Jean-Philippe Viret, in the 90s (of the last century). On this occasion, Stéphane Grappelli emerged from his Gypsy swing heritage, asserting his own style. Claude Nougaro himself wrote: "Stéphane Grappelli, grand des noires et des rondes, thanks to you, France is a violin on the roof of the world."

Kein Geiger hat die Welt des Jazz so geprägt wie Stéphane Grappelli. David Abeijon (Violine), Eddie Dhaini (Gitarre) und Aurélien Gody (Kontrabass) erweisen dem Mann mit der Violine in einer seiner Lieblingsbesetzungen eine liebevolle Hommage. Von virtuosen Swings bis hin zu sanften Balladen zeichnet dieses hochkarätige Trio die Jahre nach, die die internationale Karriere des ewigen Parisers prägten. GRAPPELLI MY LOVE, bieten uns einen Rückblick auf die Zeit des Trios Stéphane Grappelli, Marc Fosset, Jean-Philippe Viret in den 90er Jahren (des letzten Jahrhunderts). Damals trat Stéphane Grappelli aus seinem Gypsy-Swing-Erbe heraus und setzte seinen eigenen Stil durch. Claude Nougaro selbst schrieb: "Stéphane Grappelli, du großer der Schwarzen und der Runden, dank dir ist Frankreich eine Geige auf dem Dach der Welt"

In dit project brengen David Abeijon (viool), Eddie Dhaini (gitaar) en Aurélien Gody (contrabas) een teder eerbetoon aan de man met de viool in een van zijn favoriete formaties. Van virtuoze swings tot zachte ballads, dit hoogvliegende trio herneemt de jaren die de internationale carrière van de eeuwige Parijzenaar markeerden. GRAPPELLI MY LOVE neemt ons mee terug naar de periode van het trio Stéphane Grappelli, Marc Fosset, Jean-Philippe Viret in de jaren 90 (van de vorige eeuw). Bij deze gelegenheid kwam Stéphane Grappelli tevoorschijn uit zijn zigeunerswingerfenis en liet hij zijn eigen stijl gelden. De virtuosos swings a suaves baladas, este trío de altos vuelos recorre los años que marcaron la carrera internacional del eterno parisino. Dai virtuosismi swing alle dolci ballate, questo trio di alto livello ripercorre gli anni che hanno segnato la carriera internazionale dell'eterno parigino. GRAPPELLI MY LOVE ci riporta al periodo del trio Stéphane Grappelli, Marc Fosset, Jean-Philippe Viret negli anni '90 (del secolo scorso). In questa occasione, Stéphane Grappelli emerse dalla sua eredità gypsy swing, affermando il proprio stile.
