Unbound Realms explore la nature poreuse des frontières et de l‘appartenance, en réunissant des œuvres qui interrogent les frontières territoriales, culturelles et biologiques en tant que seuils dynamiques, en constante évolution. Inspirée par Les Royaumes de ce monde et Les Pas perdus d‘Alejo Carpentier, l‘exposition propose une cartographie spéculative où le changement n‘est pas une rupture, mais une transformation continue. Exposition collective organisée par la commissaire vénézuélienne Ileana Ramírez Romero. Unbound Realms explores the porous nature of borders and belonging, bringing together works that interrogate territorial, cultural and biological boundaries as dynamic, ever-changing thresholds. Inspired by Alejo Carpentier?s Les Royaumes de ce monde and Les Pas perdus, the exhibition proposes a speculative cartography where change is not a rupture, but a continuous transformation. Unbound Realms erforscht die poröse Natur von Grenzen und Zugehörigkeit, indem sie Werke versammelt, die territoriale, kulturelle und biologische Grenzen als dynamische, sich ständig verändernde Schwellen hinterfragen. Inspiriert von Alejo Carpentiers Les Royaumes de ce monde und Les Pas perdus bietet die Ausstellung eine spekulative Kartografie, in der Veränderung kein Bruch, sondern eine kontinuierliche Transformation ist.
