Créer à tout prix : l'art contemporain, entre Paris et Châlons-en-Champagne, de 1945 à nos jours. A partir de la présence à Châlons-en-Champagne de Carlos Sablón (Cuba) et de Bouvy Enkobo (Congo), deux peintres aux tendances stylistiques très différentes, le musée des Beaux-arts et d'Archéologie questionne la notion de création à l’ère de la mondialisation. La nécessité de poursuivre leur carrière a poussé ces deux artistes à s’exiler hors de leur continent d’origine. Chacun, ancré dans un certain académisme, s’est forgé une place dans l’art de leur temps. À travers ces deux parcours, l'exposition "Créer à tout prix" explore l’histoire des salons au 20ème siècle, le surréalisme et ses héritiers, la mondialisation et le post-Internet. Après avoir mis en lumière les évolutions du monde de l'art depuis la Seconde Guerre mondiale, notamment le déplacement du marché de l'art vers New York et la mondialisation des échanges artistiques, l’exposition vous fait découvrir le parcours de ces Châlonnais d’adoption et notamment le groupe "Visionirique étrange".

Créer à tout prix: l'art contemporain, entre Paris et Châlons-en-Champagne, de 1945 à nos jours. Based on the presence in Châlons-en-Champagne of Carlos Sablón (Cuba) and Bouvy Enkobo (Congo), two painters with very different stylistic tendencies, the Musée des Beaux-arts et d'Archéologie questions the notion of creation in the age of globalization. The need to pursue their careers led these two artists to go into exile outside their native continent. Each, anchored in a certain academicism, forged a place for themselves in the art of their time. Through these two paths, the exhibition "Créer à tout prix" explores the history of salons in the 20th century, surrealism and its heirs, globalization and the post-Internet era. After highlighting changes in the art world since the Second World War, notably the shift of the art market to New York and the globalization of artistic exchanges, the exhibition introduces you to the careers of these adopted Châlonnais, and in particular the "Visionirique étrange" group.

Kreieren um jeden Preis: Zeitgenössische Kunst zwischen Paris und Châlons-en-Champagne, von 1945 bis heute. Ausgehend von der Präsenz von Carlos Sablón (Kuba) und Bouvy Enkobo (Kongo) in Châlons-en-Champagne, zwei Malern mit sehr unterschiedlichen stilistischen Tendenzen, hinterfragt das Musée des Beaux-Arts et d'Archéologie den Begriff der Schöpfung im Zeitalter der Globalisierung. Die Notwendigkeit, ihre Karriere fortzusetzen, hat diese beiden Künstler dazu gebracht, außerhalb ihres Heimatkontinents ins Exil zu gehen. Beide waren in einem gewissen Akademismus verwurzelt und haben sich einen Platz in der Kunst ihrer Zeit erarbeitet. Jahrhundert, den Surrealismus und seine Erben, die Globalisierung und das Post-Internet. Met de aanwezigheid in Châlons-en-Champagne van Carlos Sablón (Cuba) en Bouvy Enkobo (Congo), twee schilders met zeer verschillende stilistische tendensen, stelt het Musée des Beaux-arts et d'Archéologie de notie van creatie in het tijdperk van globalisering ter discussie. De noodzaak om hun carrière voort te zetten leidde ertoe dat deze twee kunstenaars in ballingschap gingen buiten hun continent van herkomst. Elk van hen, verankerd in een zeker academisme, smeedde een plaats voor zichzelf in de kunst van hun tijd. Via deze twee wegen verkent de tentoonstelling "Creating at all costs" de geschiedenis van de salons in de 20e eeuw, het surrealisme en zijn erfgenamen, de globalisering en het post-Internettijdperk. Na het belichten van de veranderingen in de kunstwereld sinds de Tweede Wereldoorlog, met name de verschuiving van de kunstmarkt naar New York en de globalisering van artistieke uitwisselingen, nodigt de tentoonstelling u uit om de carrières van deze geadopteerde inwoners van Châlonnais te ontdekken, in het bijzonder de groep "Visionirique étrange".

La necesidad de proseguir sus carreras llevó a estos dos artistas a exiliarse fuera de su continente de origen. Cada uno, anclado en un cierto academicismo, se forjó un lugar en el arte de su tiempo. A través de estos dos caminos, la exposición "Crear a toda costa" explora la historia de los salones en el siglo XX, el surrealismo y sus herederos, la globalización y la era posterior a Internet. Tras destacar los cambios que se han producido en el mundo del arte desde la Segunda Guerra Mundial, en particular el desplazamiento del mercado del arte a Nueva York y la globalización de los intercambios artísticos, la exposición invita a descubrir las trayectorias de estos habitantes adoptivos de Châlonnais, en particular el grupo "Visionirique étrange".

Con la presenza a Châlons-en-Champagne di Carlos Sablón (Cuba) e Bouvy Enkobo (Congo), due pittori con tendenze stilistiche molto diverse, il Musée des Beaux-arts et d'Archéologie si interroga sulla nozione di creazione nell'era della globalizzazione. La necessità di proseguire le loro carriere ha portato questi due artisti a esiliarsi fuori dal loro continente d'origine. Ognuno di loro, ancorato a un certo accademismo, si è ritagliato un posto nell'arte del proprio tempo. Attraverso questi due percorsi, la mostra "Creare a tutti i costi" esplora la storia dei salotti nel XX secolo, il surrealismo e i suoi eredi, la globalizzazione e l'era post-Internet. Dopo aver messo in evidenza i cambiamenti avvenuti nel mondo dell'arte dal secondo dopoguerra, in particolare il trasferimento del mercato dell'arte a New York e la globalizzazione degli scambi artistici, la mostra invita a scoprire le carriere di questi abitanti adottivi di Châlonnais, in particolare del gruppo "Visionirique étrange".
