Les petits traits sont une pratique graphique à quatre mains, où chaque dessin est le fruit d’un dialogue improvisé dans la lenteur et la répétition. La forêt a toujours été présente dans notre univers, de manière latente ou explicite. Cette exposition nous donne l’occasion d’y retourner rêver au fil du pinceau.

He teaches at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Paysage (Versailles), where he is also responsible for artistic education. The artist travels to places of all kinds, in France and abroad, to gather material that he then brings into play in his studio. Each time, he develops an approach based on surveying, information gathering and encounters. The physical experience is of great importance. The sites explored have been urban, industrial, rural… These explorations give rise to a variety of plastic proposals: painting is the central focus, but it is accompanied by drawings and videos, and sometimes installations. Many of the works concern gardens, natural spaces, paths or walks.

Er unterrichtet an der Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Paysage (Versailles), wo er auch für den künstlerischen Unterricht zuständig ist. Der Künstler durchstreift Orte aller Art in Frankreich und im Ausland, um Material zu sammeln, das er dann in seinem Atelier verarbeitet. Er erarbeitet jedes Mal einen Prozess der Vermessung, des Sammelns von Informationen und der Begegnung. Die physische Erfahrung ist von großer Bedeutung. Die erforschten Orte waren städtisch, industriell, ländlich… Diese Erkundungen führen zu verschiedenen plastischen Vorschlägen: Die Malerei ist der zentrale Dreh- und Angelpunkt, aber sie wird von Zeichnungen und Videos, manchmal auch von Installationen begleitet. Viele Arbeiten befassen sich mit Gärten, Naturräumen, Wegen oder Spaziergängen.

El artista viaja a todo tipo de lugares, en Francia y en el extranjero, para recoger el material que luego pone en juego en su estudio. Cada vez, desarrolla un proceso de prospección, recopilación de información y encuentro con la gente. La experiencia física tiene una gran importancia. Los lugares explorados han sido urbanos, industriales, rurales, etc. Estas exploraciones dan lugar a diversas propuestas visuales: la pintura es el eje central, pero va acompañada de dibujos y vídeos, y a veces de instalaciones. Muchas de sus obras se refieren a jardines, espacios naturales, caminos y paseos.
