Avec les tubes « Ghazali » – devenu l’hymne de l’équipe du Maroc lors de la dernière Coupe du Monde de football au Qatar – et « TekTek » – qui a fait le tour du monde –, ce Belge d’origine marocaine a su séduire tant chez lui qu’à l’étranger. Et c’est peu dire, car ses chansons, principalement interprétées en français et en arabe marocain, avec parfois une touche d’anglais, de néerlandais ou même d’espagnol, sont écoutées par toutes les générations, des plus jeunes aux plus âgées, partout dans le monde.

With his hits "Ghazali" – which became the anthem of the Moroccan team at the last World Cup in Qatar – and "TekTek" – which went on to become a worldwide hit – this Belgian of Moroccan origin has won over fans both at home and abroad. And that's an understatement, because his songs, mainly performed in French and Moroccan Arabic, with the occasional touch of English, Dutch or even Spanish, are listened to by all generations, from the youngest to the oldest, all over the world.

Mit seinen Hits "Ghazali", der zur Hymne der marokkanischen Mannschaft bei der letzten Fußballweltmeisterschaft in Katar wurde, und "TekTek", der um die ganze Welt ging, hat der Belgier mit marokkanischen Wurzeln sowohl in seiner Heimat als auch im Ausland viele Menschen begeistert. Und das will etwas heißen, denn seine Lieder, die hauptsächlich auf Französisch und marokkanischem Arabisch vorgetragen werden, manchmal mit einem Hauch von Englisch, Niederländisch oder sogar Spanisch, werden von allen Generationen, von jung bis alt, auf der ganzen Welt gehört.

Met de hits "Ghazali" – dat het volkslied werd van het Marokkaanse team op het laatste WK in Qatar – en "TekTek" – dat de wereld rondging – heeft deze Belg van Marokkaanse origine fans veroverd in binnen- en buitenland. En dat is een understatement, want zijn liedjes, voornamelijk vertolkt in het Frans en Marokkaans Arabisch, met af en toe een vleugje Engels, Nederlands of zelfs Spaans, worden over de hele wereld beluisterd door alle generaties, van de jongste tot de oudste.

Y eso es quedarse corto, porque sus canciones, interpretadas principalmente en francés y árabe marroquí, con algún toque ocasional de inglés, neerlandés o incluso español, son escuchadas por todas las generaciones, desde los más jóvenes a los más mayores, en todo el mundo.
