Si le street art est à présent officiellement reconnu par diverses institutions, et semble être un mouvement majeur de l'art et de la culture contemporains, il garde toutefois pour partie une mauvaise réputation liée aux polémiques de son apparition intempestive, il y a maintenant soixante ans. Notre propos sera de faire un état des lieux des courants divers, voire opposés, qui le constituent. Cela nous permettra d'apprécier différemment les diverses institutions qui le promeuvent. Nous verrons alors que ses différentes dénominations ( street art, art urbain, interventionnisme urbain, artivisme de rue) correspondent à des enjeux politiques, sociétaux et commerciaux. Although street art is now officially recognized by various institutions, and seems to be a major movement in contemporary art and culture, it still has a bad reputation, partly due to the controversy surrounding its untimely appearance sixty years ago. Our aim here is to take stock of the various, even opposing, currents that make up the movement. This will enable us to appreciate differently the various institutions that promote it. We'll then see that its various names (street art, urban art, urban interventionism, street artivism) correspond to political, societal and commercial issues. Obwohl die Street Art mittlerweile von verschiedenen Institutionen offiziell anerkannt wird und eine wichtige Bewegung in der zeitgenössischen Kunst und Kultur zu sein scheint, hat sie zum Teil noch immer einen schlechten Ruf, der auf die Polemiken zurückzuführen ist, die mit ihrem unzeitgemäßen Auftauchen vor nunmehr 60 Jahren einhergingen. Unser Ziel ist es, eine Bestandsaufnahme der verschiedenen und sogar gegensätzlichen Strömungen zu machen, die sie ausmachen. Dies wird uns erlauben, die verschiedenen Institutionen, die ihn fördern, anders zu bewerten. Wir werden sehen, dass die verschiedenen Bezeichnungen (Street Art, Urban Art, Urban Interventionism, Street Artists) politischen, gesellschaftlichen und kommerziellen Herausforderungen entsprechen. Hoewel street art nu officieel erkend wordt door verschillende instellingen en een belangrijke stroming lijkt te zijn in de hedendaagse kunst en cultuur, heeft het nog steeds een slechte reputatie, deels door de controverse rond haar vroegtijdige verschijning zestig jaar geleden. Ons doel is om een inventaris op te maken van de verschillende, zelfs tegenstrijdige stromingen die er deel van uitmaken. Dit zal ons een andere waardering geven van de verschillende instellingen die het promoten. We zullen dan zien dat de verschillende namen (straatkunst, urban art, urban interventionism, street artivism) overeenkomen met politieke, maatschappelijke en commerciële kwesties. Aunque en la actualidad el arte callejero cuenta con el reconocimiento oficial de diversas instituciones, y parece ser un movimiento importante del arte y la cultura contemporáneos, sigue teniendo mala fama, en parte debido a la polémica que rodeó su intempestiva aparición hace sesenta años. Nuestro objetivo será hacer balance de las distintas corrientes, incluso opuestas, que lo componen. Ello nos permitirá apreciar de otro modo las diversas instituciones que la promueven. Veremos entonces que sus diversas denominaciones (arte callejero, arte urbano, intervencionismo urbano, artivismo callejero) corresponden a cuestiones políticas, sociales y comerciales. Sebbene la street art sia oggi ufficialmente riconosciuta da varie istituzioni e sembri essere un movimento importante nell'arte e nella cultura contemporanea, gode ancora di una cattiva reputazione, in parte dovuta alle polemiche che hanno accompagnato la sua prematura comparsa sessant'anni fa. Il nostro obiettivo sarà quello di fare il punto sulle varie correnti, anche opposte, che lo compongono. Questo ci permetterà di apprezzare in modo diverso le varie istituzioni che la promuovono. Vedremo poi che i suoi diversi nomi (street art, urban art, interventismo urbano, street artivism) corrispondono a questioni politiche, sociali e commerciali.
