La musique, chez Valentine Lambert, c'est une affaire de famille. La chanteuse grandit entre une mère artiste-peintre et un père musicien, qui l’initie très tôt à la guitare. Dès l’adolescence, Valentine se met à composer et écrire ses propres morceaux, bercée par les sonorités americana et folk qui résonnent chez elle depuis toujours. En hommage à ses idoles Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris et Norah Jones, Valentine Lambert sort d’abord un premier EP en 2018, et enchaîne les concerts dans sa région natale de l’Eure et Loire. Elle pose ensuite ses valises à Lille, à Paris puis en Australie pour un an, un voyage qui nourrit son imaginaire des grands espaces, et qui lui inspirera un morceau sur le thème de l’écologie, “The World Falls Apart”

For Valentine Lambert, music is a family affair. The singer grew up with an artist mother and a musician father, who introduced her to the guitar at an early age. As a teenager, Valentine began composing and writing her own songs, lulled by the Americana and folk sounds that had always resonated with her. In homage to her idols Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris and Norah Jones, Valentine Lambert first released a debut EP in 2018, and went on to play a series of concerts in her native Eure et Loire region. She then settled in Lille, Paris and Australia for a year, a trip that nurtured her imagination of the great outdoors, and inspired a song on the theme of ecology, ?The World Falls Apart?
