Dans le cadre de Fiesta, 7ème édition de lille3000, le musée de l’Hospice Comtesse accueillera l’exposition _The distorted party_. Ancienne institution religieuse offrant soins et abri aux personnes dans le besoin, le lieu est empreint d’ambivalences qui se retrouvent dans les thèmes de l’exposition : célébration et réflexion, chaos et beauté, distorsion et clarté. _The distorted party_ repense la fête et la convivialité à des défis contemporains : le changement climatique, les inégalités sociales, l’instabilité politique et les inquiétudes qui persistent dans un monde post-covid. Ces zones d’ombres soulignent la fragilité de l’existence humaine et détonnent avec les moments de célébration.
