Il y a partout des peintures et des gravures de Kees Okx (1939-2015), mais également des dessins et des objets d’autres artistes. Dans le jardin se trouve mes pièces céramiques entre autres et aussi des sculptures de collègues en fer et en pierre.</span></p><p><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">Ce week-end je montre le processus raku, une façon d’émaillage d’origine Japonaise. On voit le four à l’extérieur qui va monter jusqu’à 1000° C, on sent l’odeur fumée du copeau… et quand les sculptures céramiques sortent du tonneau, on aperçoit les émaux avec des craquelures très fines et des brillances magiques.</span></p><p><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">Mes sculptures sont créées à base d’argile. Ce sont des pièces uniques, elles parlent des contrastes entre les lignes droites et les rondeurs, entre le noir et le blanc, entre la matière et les ouvertures. There are paintings and prints by Kees Okx (1939–2015) everywhere, as well as drawings and objects by other artists. In the garden, you’ll find my ceramic pieces, among other things, as well as sculptures by colleagues made of iron and stone.</span></p><p><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">This weekend I’m demonstrating the raku process, a Japanese-style firing technique. You can see the kiln from the outside as it heats up to 1,000°C, and you can smell the smoky scent of wood chips… and when the ceramic sculptures come out of the kiln, you can see the glazes with very fine crackles and magical sheens.</span></p><p><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">My sculptures are created from clay. They are one-of-a-kind pieces that explore the contrasts between straight lines and curves, between black and white, and between solid form and open spaces. Überall sind Gemälde und Radierungen von Kees Okx (1939–2015) zu sehen, aber auch Zeichnungen und Objekte anderer Künstler. Im Garten stehen unter anderem meine Keramikarbeiten sowie Skulpturen von Kollegen aus Eisen und Stein.</span></p><p><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">Dieses Wochenende zeige ich den Raku-Prozess, eine aus Japan stammende Brenntechnik. Man sieht den Ofen von außen, der auf bis zu 1000°C erhitzt wird, man riecht den rauchigen Duft der Holzspäne … und wenn die Keramikskulpturen aus dem Fass kommen, sieht man die Glasuren mit sehr feinen Craquelé-Musterungen und einem zauberhaften Glanz.</span></p><p><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">Meine Skulpturen entstehen auf der Grundlage von Ton. Es handelt sich um Unikate, die von den Kontrasten zwischen geraden Linien und Rundungen, zwischen Schwarz und Weiß, zwischen Materie und Öffnungen erzählen. Por todas partes hay pinturas y grabados de Kees Okx (1939-2015), pero también dibujos y objetos de otros artistas. En el jardín se encuentran, entre otras cosas, mis piezas de cerámica, así como esculturas de compañeros realizadas en hierro y piedra.</span></p><p><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">Este fin de semana voy a mostrar el proceso raku, una técnica de cocción de origen japonés. Se ve el horno desde fuera, que alcanza los 1000°C, se nota el olor a humo de las virutas… y cuando las esculturas de cerámica salen del barril, se pueden apreciar los esmaltes con craquelados muy finos y brillos mágicos.</span></p><p><span style="background-color: transparent; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 11pt;">Mis esculturas están creadas a partir de arcilla. Son piezas únicas que hablan de los contrastes entre las líneas rectas y las curvas, entre el negro y el blanco, entre la materia y los huecos.
