Moulin à huile Saint-Vincent – Jouques

Le moulin à huile construit à l'entrée du village est le successeur de nombreux moulins existants à Jouques jusqu'en 1956. En effet, le gel a mis un terme à une longue tradition oléicole. De jeunes agriculteurs ont voulu sauver et préserver ce patrimoine en plantant des oliviers sur la commune. Depuis, la production est en hausse et transformée pour l'essentiel au moulin St Vincent. Eric Garcin possède 10 hectares de variété aglandaou typique de la Haute-Provence. Vous pourrez visiter cette chaîne de transformation pendant la saison mais également y apporter votre propre production. La boutique du moulin est ouverte toute l'année et vous permet de découvrir tous les produits de l'exploitation.

The oil mill built at the entrance to the village is the successor to the many mills that existed in Jouques until 1956. The frost put an end to a long tradition of olive-growing. Young farmers decided to save and preserve this heritage by planting olive trees in the commune. Since then, production has been on the rise, with most of it processed at the St Vincent mill. Eric Garcin owns 10 hectares of the aglandaou variety, typical of Haute-Provence. You can visit the processing line during the season, or bring your own produce. The mill's boutique is open all year round, allowing you to discover all the farm's products.

Seitdem steigt die Produktion und wird zum größten Teil in der Mühle St. Vincent verarbeitet. Eric Garcin besitzt 10 Hektar der für die Haute-Provence typischen Sorte Aglandaou. Sie können diese Verarbeitungskette während der Saison besichtigen, aber auch Ihre eigene Produktion mitbringen. Die Boutique der Mühle ist das ganze Jahr über geöffnet und bietet Ihnen die Möglichkeit, alle Produkte des Betriebs zu entdecken.
