Château Anthonic – Moulis-en-Médoc

Le Château Anthonic est une propriété familiale de référence de l’appellation Moulis-en-Médoc, certifiée biologique depuis 2019 et précurseur en Médoc dans ses pratiques agroécologiques, notamment l’agroforesterie (arbres plantés au milieu des vignes). Included in the very first edition of the Guide Féret (1850) under the name “Puy de Minjon (Hugon)”, Château Anthonic is one of the oldest estates of the Appellation Moulis-en-Médoc. As a property of some standing, it was designated “Cru Bourgeois Supérieur” in the 1932 classification of the Crus Bourgeois of the Médoc. Today the Château’s vineyards extend over some 30 hectares, mostly planted on the favourable clay-limestone soils of the Moulis plateau. These soils are complemented by parcels of sandy-clay and Garonne gravel which add complexity to this unique terroir. Situated between Margaux and Saint Julien, Moulis-en-Médoc is one of the six communal appellations of the Médoc, a region situated to the North-west of Bordeaux that enjoys an international reputation for excellence.

Château Anthonic is een toonaangevend familiedomein in de appellation Moulis-en-Médoc, biologisch gecertificeerd in 2019 en een voorloper in de Médoc voor zijn agro-ecologische praktijken, in het bijzonder agroforestry (bomen geplant in het midden van de wijnstokken). We delen dit spannende avontuur graag met je tijdens een rondleiding door onze wijngaarden en kelders, gevolgd door een proeverij.
