Christian Michel est né à Paris en 1954, il part s'installer en Savoie en 1978 et devient moniteur de ski. Son autre passion c'est la couture ! Il coupe, coud, assemble, patronne… se passionne pour l'oeuvre de Sonia Delaunay. Il crée sa marque, son atelier et sa première chemise en 1987 à la Plagne. Christian Michel recherche inlassablement de nouveaux tissus parfois improbables, du plus brut au plus précieux. Pour parfaire sa technique, il suit pendant deux ans des cours de modéliste à l'école ESMOD Paris tout en continuant ses recherches. Passionné par la peinture il compose des étoffes colorées dont il fait des vêtements tableau.

Christian Michel was born in Paris in 1954, he moved to Savoie in 1978 and became a ski instructor. His other passion is sewing! He cuts, sews, assembles, patterns… and is passionate about the work of Sonia Delaunay. He created his brand, his workshop and his first shirt in 1987 in La Plagne. Christian Michel tirelessly searches for new and sometimes improbable fabrics, from the most raw to the most precious. To perfect his technique, he took two years of pattern-making courses at the ESMOD Paris school while continuing his research. Passionate about painting, he composes colored fabrics from which he makes clothing paintings.

Christian Michel wurde 1954 in Paris geboren. 1978 zog er nach Savoyen und wurde Skilehrer. Seine andere Leidenschaft ist das Nähen! Er schneidet, näht, fügt zusammen, patroniert… begeistert sich für das Werk von Sonia Delaunay. Er gründet seine Marke, sein Atelier und sein erstes Hemd 1987 in La Plagne. Christian Michel ist unermüdlich auf der Suche nach neuen, manchmal unwahrscheinlichen Stoffen, von roh bis kostbar. Um seine Technik zu perfektionieren, besucht er zwei Jahre lang Kurse für Modellbauer an der ESMOD Paris und setzt gleichzeitig seine Recherchen fort. Als leidenschaftlicher Maler komponiert er farbenfrohe Stoffe, aus denen er Kleidungsstücke in Form von Gemälden herstellt.

Gepassioneerd door schilderen, stelt hij gekleurde stoffen samen waarvan hij tafelkleden maakt.

Christian Michel busca incansablemente tejidos nuevos y a veces improbables, desde los más crudos hasta los más preciosos. Para perfeccionar su técnica, realizó dos años de cursos de patronaje en la escuela ESMOD de París mientras seguía investigando. Apasionado de la pintura, compone telas de colores con las que confecciona trajes de mesa.

Appassionato di pittura, compone tessuti colorati con i quali realizza tableau.
