Vernantes possède une caractéristique étonnante, c'est un village à deux clochers. Sa place centrale est encadrée par le clocher de l'ancienne église transformée en mairie et par celui de l'église paroissiale construite au XIXème siècle. La commune se distingue également par son environnement très boisé.

Vernantes has a surprising characteristic: it's a village with two bell towers. Its central square is framed by the steeples of the former church, now the town hall, and the parish church, built in the 19th century. The village is also distinguished by its wooded surroundings.

Vernantes hat eine erstaunliche Eigenschaft: Es ist ein Dorf mit zwei Kirchtürmen. Sein zentraler Platz wird vom Glockenturm der alten, zum Rathaus umgebauten Kirche und von dem der im 19. Jahrhundert erbauten Pfarrkirche eingerahmt. Jahrhundert errichtet wurde. Die Gemeinde zeichnet sich auch durch ihre stark bewaldete Umgebung aus.
