L’exposition « Les bretons d’Armorique » vous raconte l’histoire de l’Armorique du Vème au VIIème siècle. A la fin du Vème siècle, la Bretagne est très peu peuplée du fait des ravages causés par les tribus barbares et aussi la chute de l’empire Romain. A cette époque, les populations de Cornouaille et du Pays de Galles, regroupées par clans ou familles, fuient les barbares des tribus Saxonnes, Pictes, Angles, et surtout des Scots d’Irlande. Ils sont guidés par leurs chefs religieux principalement (les futurs « Saints » bretons) et vont trouver en Armorique une véritable terre d’accueil. Vous remonterez l’histoire grâce à un ensemble de maquettes et d’objets qui vous ferons comprendre la particularité de cette période. Cette exposition est l’œuvre de M. Michel Morel, féru d’histoire et artiste accompli.

The exhibition "The Bretons of Armorica" tells you the history of Armorica from the 5th to the 7th century. At the end of the 5th century, Brittany was very sparsely populated due to the ravages caused by the barbarian tribes and also the fall of the Roman Empire. At that time, the populations of Cornwall and Wales, grouped by clans or families, fled from the barbarians of the Saxons, Picts, Angles, and especially the Scots of Ireland. They are guided by their religious leaders (the future Breton "Saints") and will find in Armorica a true land of welcome. You will go back in history thanks to a set of models and objects which will make you understand the particularity of this period. This exhibition is the work of Mr. Michel Morel, history enthusiast and accomplished artist.

Die Ausstellung "Bretonen in Armorica" erzählt Ihnen die Geschichte der Region Armorica vom 5. bis zum 7. Am Ende des 5. Jahrhunderts war die Bretagne aufgrund der Verwüstungen durch barbarische Stämme und des Untergangs des Römischen Reiches sehr dünn besiedelt. Zu dieser Zeit flohen die Menschen aus Cornwall und Wales, die sich in Clans oder Familien zusammenschlossen, vor den Barbaren der sächsischen, piktischen und anglischen Stämme und vor allem vor den Schotten aus Irland. Sie wurden hauptsächlich von ihren religiösen Führern (den zukünftigen bretonischen "Heiligen") geleitet und fanden in Armorica eine echte Heimat. Anhand von Modellen und Objekten, die Ihnen die Besonderheiten dieser Zeit näher bringen, können Sie die Geschichte zurückverfolgen. Diese Ausstellung ist das Werk von Michel Morel, einem Geschichtsliebhaber und Künstler.

De tentoonstelling "De Bretoenen van Armorica" vertelt u de geschiedenis van Armorica van de 5e tot de 7e eeuw. Aan het eind van de 5e eeuw was Bretagne zeer dunbevolkt door de verwoestingen van de barbaarse stammen en ook door de val van het Romeinse Rijk. In die tijd ontvluchtten de inwoners van Cornwall en Wales, gegroepeerd per clan of familie, de barbaren van de Saksen, de Picten, de Angelen en vooral de Schotten van Ierland. Zij werden geleid door hun religieuze leiders (de toekomstige Bretonse "heiligen") en vonden Armorica als een echt thuis. U gaat terug in de geschiedenis dankzij een reeks modellen en voorwerpen die u de bijzonderheid van deze periode doen begrijpen. Deze tentoonstelling is het werk van de heer Michel Morel, een geschiedenisliefhebber en volleerd kunstenaar.

La exposición "Los bretones de Armórica" le cuenta la historia de Armórica desde el siglo V al VII. A finales del siglo V, Bretaña estaba muy poco poblada debido a los estragos causados por las tribus bárbaras y también a la caída del Imperio Romano. En esta época, los habitantes de Cornualles y Gales, agrupados por clanes o familias, huían de los bárbaros sajones, pictos, anglos y, sobre todo, escoceses de Irlanda. Guiados por sus líderes religiosos (los futuros "santos" bretones), encontraron en Armórica un verdadero hogar. Retrocederá en la historia gracias a un conjunto de maquetas y objetos que le harán comprender la particularidad de este periodo. Esta exposición es obra del Sr. Michel Morel, entusiasta de la historia y artista consumado.

La mostra "I bretoni dell'Armorica" racconta la storia dell'Armorica dal V al VII secolo. Alla fine del V secolo, la Bretagna era scarsamente popolata a causa delle devastazioni causate dalle tribù barbariche e della caduta dell'Impero Romano. In questo periodo, le popolazioni della Cornovaglia e del Galles, raggruppate per clan o famiglie, fuggirono dai barbari Sassoni, Pitti, Angli e soprattutto dagli Scozzesi d'Irlanda. Guidati dai loro capi religiosi (i futuri "santi" bretoni), trovarono nell'Armorica una vera e propria casa. Tornerete indietro nella storia grazie a una serie di modelli e oggetti che vi faranno capire la particolarità di questo periodo. Questa mostra è opera di Michel Morel, appassionato di storia e artista affermato.
