Butinarello signifie butineuse en provençal. Outre sa jolie sonorité, ce nom, qui a été choisi pour vendre leurs productions, tend à souligner un ancrage local et mettre à l'honneur leurs abeilles. La volonté est d'offrir un produit brut, simple et de qualité, au plus près de ce qu'il est dans la ruche. Caroline et Quentin, jeune couple fraîchement reconverti à l'aube de la trentaine pour lancer ce projet de ferme apicole. Ils ont décidé, après quelques pérégrinations et une solide formation en exploitations – qui les aura fait voyager du Nord au Sud de la France jusqu’à à la Réunion – de poser leurs valises à Puyricard, dans la campagne aixoise, entre Sainte Victoire et Luberon. En période de production (du mois de mars au mois d'août), la disponibilité que demande les abeilles rend difficile l'accueil du public. Pour rencontrer Caroline et Quentin et goûter à leurs miels, il convient de prendre rendez-vous de préférence pendant la saison hivernale.

Butinarello means "forager" in Provençal. In addition to its pretty sound, this name, which was chosen to sell their products, emphasizes their local roots and honors their bees. The aim is to offer a raw, simple, quality product, as close as possible to what is in the hive. Caroline and Quentin, a young couple freshly reconverted at the dawn of their thirties to launch this beekeeping farm project. After a few wanderings and a solid training in beekeeping – which took them from the North to the South of France, as far as Reunion Island – they decided to settle in Puyricard, in the Aix countryside, between Sainte Victoire and the Luberon. During the production period (from March to August), the bees are very busy, making it difficult to welcome the public.
