Opération lancée par le ministère de la Culture en 2016, les Journées nationales de l’Architecture proposent de regarder différemment l’architecture contemporaine, de raconter l’histoire du bâti qui nous entoure, d’éveiller les curiosités et les sensibilités à ces lieux du quotidien. Une belle occasion d’envisager le patrimoine cantilien sous un autre angle. Le thème 2025 : « Architecture du quotidien». SAMEDI 18 OCTOBRE À 15h : L'église Saint-François du coq chantant RDV devant l’église Saint-François, au bout de l’allée du Valois, quartier du Coq Chantant L’église Saint-François du quartier du Coq Chantant est typique de l’architecture religieuse des Trente Glorieuses. Par son histoire, son architecture mais aussi par ses vitraux, elle constitue un bel exemple des églises post Vatican II. Venez découvrir la technique et l’histoire de ses grandes verrières, œuvre du célèbre atelier Loire à Chartres, spécialiste de la dalle de verre. /// Durée: 1h, gratuit dans le cadre des JNA.
