EXPOSITION : à la découverte du livre ancien à travers le fonds de la Manufacture – Villefranche-de-Rouergue

A l’occasion des Journées du Patrimoine et du Salon du Livre Ancien de Villefranche, la Manufacture présente une exposition destinée à faire découvrir son fonds d’imprimés anciens, riche de centaines de titres couvrant la période fin XVIe siècle – années 1930. Evènement inaugural appelé à d’ultérieurs développements, il propose à tous une première rencontre avec le livre ancien, son histoire et sa matérialité, en abordant tour à tour questions techniques (fabrication, format) et historiques (histoire et métiers de l’imprimerie, contexte de développement) et en s’attardant sur les débuts de l’imprimerie à Villefranche aux XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles. Une sélection d’ouvrages, parmi les plus remarquables du fonds, sera présentée ; un diaporama de documents inédits complètera l’histoire de ce fonds. On the occasion of the Journées du Patrimoine and the Salon du Livre Ancien de Villefranche, the Manufacture presents an exhibition designed to introduce visitors to its collection of antiquarian printed books, with hundreds of titles covering the period from the late 16th century to the 1930s. This inaugural event, which will be further developed, offers everyone a first encounter with antiquarian books, their history and materiality, by addressing both technical issues (manufacture, format) and historical questions (history and professions of the printing industry, context of development), and by focusing on the beginnings of printing in Villefranche in the 17th and 18th centuries. A selection of some of the most remarkable works in the collection will be presented, and a slide show of previously unpublished documents will complete the history of the collection. Anlässlich der Tage des Kulturerbes und der Messe für alte Bücher in Villefranche präsentiert die Manufaktur eine Ausstellung, die den Besuchern die Möglichkeit gibt, ihren Bestand an alten Drucken zu entdecken, der Hunderte von Titeln aus der Zeit zwischen dem späten 16. Die Ausstellung, die als Auftaktveranstaltung für weitere Entwicklungen gedacht ist, bietet allen Besuchern eine erste Begegnung mit dem alten Buch, seiner Geschichte und seiner Materialität. Dabei werden sowohl technische Fragen (Herstellung, Format) als auch historische Themen (Geschichte und Berufe der Druckerei, Kontext der Entwicklung) behandelt und die Anfänge der Druckerei in Villefranche im 17. und 18. Eine Auswahl der bemerkenswertesten Werke aus dem Bestand wird präsentiert; eine Diashow mit bisher unveröffentlichten Dokumenten vervollständigt die Geschichte des Bestandes. Ter gelegenheid van de Journées du Patrimoine en de Salon du Livre Ancien de Villefranche presenteert de Manufacture een tentoonstelling om bezoekers kennis te laten maken met haar collectie antiquarische gedrukte boeken, met honderden titels die de periode van het einde van de 16e eeuw tot de jaren 1930 bestrijken. De tentoonstelling is een eerste kennismaking met antiquarische boeken, hun geschiedenis en materialiteit, met aandacht voor zowel technische kwesties (vervaardiging, formaat) als historische kwesties (geschiedenis en beroepen van de drukindustrie, context van de ontwikkeling), en richt zich op het begin van de boekdrukkunst in Villefranche in de zeventiende en achttiende eeuw. Een selectie van de meest opmerkelijke werken uit de collectie wordt tentoongesteld en een diavoorstelling van niet eerder gepubliceerde documenten rondt de geschiedenis van de collectie af. Con ocasión de las Jornadas del Patrimonio y del Salón del Libro Antiguo de Villefranche, la Manufactura presenta una exposición destinada a dar a conocer a los visitantes su colección de libros impresos antiguos, con cientos de títulos que abarcan el periodo comprendido entre finales del siglo XVI y los años treinta del siglo XX. La exposición, inaugural y potencialmente evolutiva, ofrece al visitante un primer encuentro con el libro antiguo, su historia y su materialidad, abordando tanto cuestiones técnicas (fabricación, formato) como históricas (historia y oficios de la imprenta, contexto de desarrollo), y centrándose en los inicios de la imprenta en Villefranche en los siglos XVII y XVIII. Se expondrá una selección de las obras más destacadas de la colección y una proyección de diapositivas de documentos inéditos completará la historia de la colección. In occasione delle Journées du Patrimoine e del Salon du Livre Ancien de Villefranche, la Manifattura presenta una mostra destinata a far conoscere ai visitatori la sua collezione di libri stampati antichi, con centinaia di titoli che coprono un periodo che va dalla fine del XVI secolo agli anni Trenta. Evento inaugurale con possibilità di ulteriori sviluppi, la mostra offre ai visitatori un primo incontro con i libri antichi, la loro storia e la loro materialità, affrontando sia questioni tecniche (fabbricazione, formato) che storiche (storia e professioni dell'industria tipografica, contesto di sviluppo), e concentrandosi sugli inizi della stampa a Villefranche nel XVII e XVIII secolo. Sarà esposta una selezione delle opere più importanti della collezione e una proiezione di diapositive di documenti inediti completerà la storia della collezione.
