Explorer l’humain comme un territoire infini La Cité est un théâtre qui s'invente hors des sentiers balisés : vous n'y trouverez pas une programmation de spectacles à l'année, mais un lieu partagé de recherche et de création avec des temps de résidences, des créations partagées, des étapes de travail, des rencontres entre artistes, penseur.ses, chercheur.ses et habitant.es pour cerner les grands tremblements de notre époque. On y explore de nouvelles relations entre art et société, mais aussi entre artistes et publics qui prennent part aux créations, en actes et en pensées. Nous sommes une fabrique artistique et citoyenne en interaction constante avec la ville et ses habitant.es, où se réinvente tous les deux ans la Biennale des écritures du réel. Paroles, récits, poèmes d'un réel à vif, ces écritures nous invitent, à la croisée du politique et du poétique, à ressentir le monde avec les yeux des autres. Quand nous ne sommes pas à La Cité, notre camp de base, nous sommes nomades. Nous nous aventurons sur des territoires oubliés de Marseille et ouvrons des dialogues entre centre et périphéries. Nous allons à la rencontre d’habitant.es, là où ils vivent, travaillent, étudient et nous inventons des espaces de co-création pour ouvrir des imaginaires et expérimenter d’autres façons de créer à partir de notre réel, de le faire vibrer, et de le mettre en partage. Nous explorons des endroits où c’est la ville qui devient scène, en investissant des lieux comme une école, un lycée, un centre social, un hôpital psychiatrique, une ferme pédagogique, ou tout simplement la rue. Cette saison, nous sommes présent.es dans les quartiers Nord et dans la Vallée de l’Huveaune, à l’est de Marseille. Les écritures du réel sont notre terreau poétique. Des écritures d’aujourd’hui, en interaction avec la société dans lesquelles elles s’inventent. Des écritures de la relation, de personne à personne. En se frottant à l’expérience du réel, nous fouillons les zones de mystère et d’invisible en chacun de nous. Nous explorons l’infini d’une personne plutôt que la fixité du personnage. Nous sortons du témoignage pour aller vers une langue poétique et complexe, vers une fiction qui se déplie de l’intérieur et qui ré-élabore le réel, dans une logique d’entre-traduction. Et nous tentons de faire vaciller, de questionner notre rapport au monde avec des artistes et des chercheurs qui s’engagent et s’inventent dans une écriture en allers-retours avec la scène et le terrain.

Exploring the human as an infinite territory La Cité is a theater that's inventing itself off the beaten track: you won't find a year-round program of shows, but a shared space for research and creation, with residencies, shared creations, stages of work, meetings between artists, thinkers, researchers and residents to identify the great tremors of our times. We explore new relationships between art and society, as well as between artists and the public, who take part in the creations, in action and in thought. We are an artistic and civic factory in constant interaction with the city and its inhabitants, where the Biennale des écritures du réel is reinvented every two years. Words, stories and poems from the real, these writings invite us, at the crossroads of the political and the poetic, to experience the world through the eyes of others. When we're not at La Cité, our base camp, we're nomads. We venture into the forgotten territories of Marseille, opening up dialogues between center and periphery. We meet local residents where they live, work and study, and invent spaces for co-creation to open up imaginations and experiment with other ways of creating from our reality, making it vibrate, and sharing it. We explore places where the city becomes the stage, taking over places like a school, a high school, a social center, a psychiatric hospital, an educational farm, or simply the street. This season, we are present in the northern districts and in the Huveaune Valley, to the east of Marseille. Writing about reality is our poetic soil. Writings of today, interacting with the society in which they are invented. Writing about relationships, from person to person. By grappling with the experience of reality, we delve into the zones of mystery and invisibility within each of us. We explore the infinity of a person rather than the fixity of a character. We move away from testimony towards a complex, poetic language, towards a fiction that unfolds from within and re-elaborates reality, in a logic of inter-translation. And we try to shake things up, to question our relationship with the world, with artists and researchers who are committed to and invent a form of writing that moves back and forth between the stage and the field.

Den Menschen als unendliches Territorium erforschen La Cité ist ein Theater, das sich außerhalb der markierten Pfade erfindet: Hier finden Sie kein ganzjähriges Programm von Aufführungen, sondern einen gemeinsamen Ort der Forschung und des Schaffens mit Residenzen, gemeinsamen Kreationen, Arbeitsphasen, Begegnungen zwischen Künstlern, Denkern, Forschern und Einwohnern, um die großen Erschütterungen unserer Zeit zu erfassen. Diese Schriften laden uns ein, die Welt mit den Augen der anderen zu sehen, und zwar an der Schnittstelle zwischen Politik und Poesie. Wenn wir uns nicht in La Cité, unserem Basislager, befinden, sind wir Nomaden. Wir wagen uns in die vergessenen Gebiete von Marseille und eröffnen Dialoge zwischen Zentrum und Peripherie. Wir treffen die Menschen dort, wo sie leben, arbeiten und studieren, und erfinden Räume der Ko-Kreation, um Vorstellungswelten zu öffnen und andere Wege zu erproben, um aus unserer Realität etwas zu schaffen, sie in Schwingung zu versetzen und sie mit anderen zu teilen. Wir erkunden Orte, an denen die Stadt zur Bühne wird, und besetzen Orte wie eine Schule, ein Gymnasium, ein Sozialzentrum, eine psychiatrische Klinik, einen pädagogischen Bauernhof oder einfach nur die Straße. In dieser Saison sind wir in den Nordvierteln und im Huveaune-Tal im Osten von Marseille vertreten. Die Schriften der Realität sind unser poetischer Nährboden. Schriftstücke von heute, die mit der Gesellschaft, in der sie entstehen, interagieren. Es sind Schriften der Beziehung, von Person zu Person. Indem wir uns mit der Erfahrung des Realen auseinandersetzen, durchforsten wir die Bereiche des Geheimnisvollen und Unsichtbaren in jedem von uns. Wir erforschen die Unendlichkeit einer Person statt der Fixierung einer Figur. Wir verlassen das Zeugnis und gehen zu einer poetischen und komplexen Sprache über, zu einer Fiktion, die sich von innen heraus entfaltet und das Reale in einer Logik der Zwischenübersetzung neu erarbeitet. Und wir versuchen, unsere Beziehung zur Welt ins Wanken zu bringen und zu hinterfragen, mit Künstlern und Forschern, die sich in einem Schreiben engagieren und erfinden, das zwischen Bühne und Feld hin- und herpendelt.

Het verkennen van de mens als een oneindig territorium La Cité is een theater dat zichzelf uitvindt buiten de gebaande paden: je vindt er geen programma met voorstellingen die het hele jaar door lopen, maar een gedeelde ruimte voor onderzoek en creatie, met residentieperiodes, gedeelde creaties, werkfases, ontmoetingen tussen kunstenaars, denkers, onderzoekers en bewoners om de grote schokken van onze tijd vast te stellen. We verkennen nieuwe relaties tussen kunst en maatschappij en tussen kunstenaars en het publiek, dat deelneemt aan de creaties, in actie en in gedachten. We zijn een artistieke en burgerlijke fabriek in constante interactie met de stad en haar inwoners, waar we om de twee jaar de Biënnale des écritures du réel opnieuw uitvinden. Woorden, verhalen en gedichten over een realiteit in levende lijve, deze geschriften nodigen ons uit, op het kruispunt van het politieke en het poëtische, om de wereld te ervaren door de ogen van anderen. Als we niet in La Cité zijn, ons basiskamp, zijn we nomaden. We wagen ons in de vergeten gebieden van Marseille en gaan de dialoog aan tussen het centrum en de periferie. We gaan lokale mensen ontmoeten waar ze wonen, werken en studeren en we bedenken ruimtes voor co-creatie om onze verbeelding te openen en te experimenteren met andere manieren om onze realiteit te creëren, te laten vibreren en te delen. We verkennen plaatsen waar de stad het toneel wordt en nemen locaties over zoals een school, een middelbare school, een sociaal centrum, een psychiatrisch ziekenhuis, een educatieve boerderij of gewoon de straat. Dit seizoen treden we op in de noordelijke wijken en in de Huveaunevallei, ten oosten van Marseille. Schrijven over de werkelijkheid is onze poëtische bodem. Het zijn de geschriften van vandaag, in interactie met de maatschappij waarin ze zijn uitgevonden. Schrijven over relaties, van mens tot mens. Door te worstelen met de ervaring van de werkelijkheid, duiken we in de gebieden van het mysterie en het onzichtbare in ieder van ons. We verkennen de oneindigheid van een persoon in plaats van de fixiteit van een personage. We verschuiven van getuigenissen naar een poëtische en complexe taal, naar een fictie die zich van binnenuit ontvouwt en de werkelijkheid opnieuw vormgeeft, in een logica van inter-vertaling. En we proberen de boel op te schudden, onze relatie met de wereld in vraag te stellen, met kunstenaars en onderzoekers die zich inzetten voor een vorm van schrijven die heen en weer beweegt tussen het podium en het veld.

Explorar el ser humano como territorio infinito La Cité es un teatro que se inventa a sí mismo fuera de los caminos trillados: no encontrará una programación de espectáculos durante todo el año, sino un espacio compartido de investigación y creación, con periodos de residencia, creaciones compartidas, etapas de trabajo, encuentros entre artistas, pensadores, investigadores y residentes para señalar los grandes temblores de nuestro tiempo. Exploramos nuevas relaciones entre el arte y la sociedad, así como entre los artistas y el público, que participa en las creaciones, en la acción y en el pensamiento. Somos una fábrica artística y cívica en constante interacción con la ciudad y sus habitantes, donde cada dos años reinventamos la Biennale des écritures du réel. Palabras, relatos y poemas de una realidad en carne viva, estos escritos nos invitan, en la encrucijada de lo político y lo poético, a experimentar el mundo a través de los ojos de los demás. Cuando no estamos en La Cité, nuestro campamento base, somos nómadas. Nos aventuramos en los territorios olvidados de Marsella, abriendo diálogos entre el centro y la periferia. Vamos al encuentro de la gente local allí donde vive, trabaja y estudia, e inventamos espacios de cocreación para abrir la imaginación y experimentar otras formas de crear a partir de nuestra realidad, hacerla vibrar y compartirla. Exploramos lugares donde la ciudad se convierte en escenario, ocupando espacios como un colegio, un instituto, un centro social, un hospital psiquiátrico, una granja educativa o simplemente la calle. Esta temporada actuaremos en los barrios del norte y en el valle de Huveaune, al este de Marsella. Escribir sobre la realidad es nuestro suelo poético. Son las escrituras de hoy, en interacción con la sociedad en la que se inventan. Escribir sobre las relaciones, de persona a persona. Al abordar la experiencia de lo real, ahondamos en las zonas de misterio y en lo invisible de cada uno de nosotros. Exploramos la infinitud de una persona más que la fijeza de un personaje. Nos alejamos de los testimonios para acercarnos a un lenguaje poético y complejo, a una ficción que se despliega desde dentro y reelabora la realidad, en una lógica de intertraducción. E intentamos sacudir las cosas, cuestionar nuestra relación con el mundo, con artistas e investigadores que se comprometen e inventan una forma de escritura que va y viene entre el escenario y el campo.

Esploriamo nuove relazioni tra arte e società, nonché tra artisti e pubblico, che partecipa alle creazioni, all'azione e al pensiero. Siamo una fabbrica artistica e civica in costante interazione con la città e i suoi abitanti, dove ogni due anni reinventiamo la Biennale des écritures du réel. Parole, storie e poesie di una realtà in carne e ossa, questi scritti ci invitano, all'incrocio tra il politico e il poetico, a sperimentare il mondo attraverso gli occhi degli altri. Quando non siamo a La Cité, il nostro campo base, siamo nomadi. Ci avventuriamo nei territori dimenticati di Marsiglia, aprendo dialoghi tra il centro e la periferia. Incontreremo la gente del posto, dove vive, lavora e studia, e inventeremo spazi di co-creazione per aprire l'immaginazione e sperimentare altri modi di creare dalla nostra realtà, farla vibrare e condividerla. Esploriamo luoghi in cui la città diventa palcoscenico, occupando spazi come una scuola, un liceo, un centro sociale, un ospedale psichiatrico, una fattoria didattica o semplicemente la strada. In questa stagione ci esibiremo nei quartieri settentrionali e nella valle di Huveaune, a est di Marsiglia. La scrittura della realtà è il nostro terreno poetico. Sono le scritture di oggi, che interagiscono con la società in cui sono state inventate. Scrivere di relazioni, da persona a persona. Alle prese con l'esperienza del reale, ci addentriamo nelle zone del mistero e dell'invisibile in ognuno di noi. Esploriamo l'infinità di una persona piuttosto che la fissità di un personaggio. Ci allontaniamo dalle testimonianze verso un linguaggio poetico e complesso, verso una finzione che si dispiega dall'interno e rielabora la realtà, in una logica di inter-traduzione. E cerchiamo di scuotere le cose, di mettere in discussione il nostro rapporto con il mondo, con artisti e ricercatori che si impegnano e inventano una forma di scrittura che si muove avanti e indietro tra il palcoscenico e il campo.
