L’objectif d’EquiLandes c’est d’abord et avant tout la valorisation du cheval de loisir. L’équitation américaine plus communément appelée « équitation western » est une équitation d’extérieur par excellence. C’est une méthode qui propose une approche différente du cheval fondée sur le respect et la complicité cheval/cavalier. Si le terme « équitation AMERICAINE » a été choisi aux dépend de « équitation WESTERN », c’est pour mettre l’accent sur la technique de monte et se démarquer du folklore souvent lié à l’appellation WESTERN . En clair, c’est de l’équitation western mais, sans les franges. Cette équitation qui, à l'origine était une équitation de travail pratiquée dans les ranchs, est désormais, principalement, une équitation de loisir mais aussi de compétition. L’apprentissage de cette équitation a pour objectif d’être autonome en extérieur dans des règles de sécurité absolues. Les techniques sont précises et fiables. Es ist eine Methode, die einen anderen Zugang zum Pferd bietet, der auf Respekt und Komplizenschaft zwischen Pferd und Reiter beruht. Der Begriff "AMERIKANISCHES Reiten" wurde gegenüber "WESTERN-Reiten" gewählt, um die Reittechnik zu betonen und sich von der Folklore zu unterscheiden, die oft mit der Bezeichnung WESTERN verbunden ist. Es handelt sich also um Westernreiten, aber ohne Fransen. Dieses Reiten, das ursprünglich ein Arbeitsreiten auf Ranches war, ist heute hauptsächlich ein Freizeitreiten, aber auch ein Turnierreiten. Das Erlernen dieser Reitweise zielt darauf ab, unter Einhaltung absoluter Sicherheitsregeln selbstständig im Freien reiten zu können. Die Techniken sind präzise und zuverlässig. Es ist eine Reitweise, die auf Gefühl, Effizienz und Sicherheit ausgerichtet ist. Montag bis Samstag von 9.00 bis 18.00 Uhr nach Vereinbarung.
