Elément majeur du patrimoine Boumien, la distillerie coopérative dite « brûlerie », crée en 1920, a fonctionné en ce lieu jusqu’en 1980. Depuis 2008, suite à un aménagement muséographique, elle est devenue un centre d'interprétation sur le thème de la distillation, témoin de l'histoire sociale et agricole de Bou. On peut y voir tout le matériel y ayant utilisé, présentation complétée par des panneaux explicatifs, une animation électronique et des documents audiovisuels.

A major part of Boumien's heritage, the cooperative distillery known as the "brûlerie", created in 1920, operated here until 1980. In 2008, it was refurbished as a museum and turned into an interpretation center on the theme of distillation, bearing witness to Bou's social and agricultural history. All the equipment used in the distillation process is on display, complemented by explanatory panels, electronic animation and audiovisual documents.

Die 1920 gegründete genossenschaftliche Brennerei, die sogenannte "brûlerie", ist ein wichtiger Bestandteil des Kulturerbes von Boumien und war bis 1980 an diesem Ort in Betrieb. Seit 2008 ist sie nach einer museografischen Umgestaltung zu einem Interpretationszentrum zum Thema Destillation geworden, das von der sozialen und landwirtschaftlichen Geschichte von Bou zeugt. Ze werd in 1920 opgericht en functioneerde hier tot 1980. In 2008 werd het omgebouwd tot een museum en omgevormd tot een interpretatiecentrum over het thema distillatie, dat getuigt van de sociale en agrarische geschiedenis van Bou. Alle apparatuur die in de distilleerderij werd gebruikt wordt tentoongesteld, samen met verklarende panelen, een elektronische animatie en audiovisuele documenten.
