This house built in 1846 used to be the dwelling of the executioner and his family. You can find there a collection of torture devices such as a guillotine, handcuffs… and learn more about the history of justice in Draguignan and the Var region.

Dieses im Jahr 1846 gebaute Haus war der Wohnsitz des Scharfrichters und seiner Familie während der Zeit, als die Guillotine noch zum Köpfen der Kriminellen zum Einsatz kam. Vor eben diesem Haus fanden damals die Exekutionen statt

Dit in 1846 opgetrokken huis werd bewoond door de beul en zijn gezin in het tijdperk waarin de guillotine nog gebruikt werd om criminelen te onthoofden. De executies vonden plaats voor dit huis.

Questa casa, edificata nel 1846, ospitò il boia e la sua famiglia nel tempo in cui la ghigliottina era in uso per troncare la testa dei criminali. Proprio davanti alla suddetta casa si svolgevano le esecuzioni.
