Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain

Le bâtiment tout en transparence et en reflets imaginé par Jean Nouvel vise à promouvoir l'art contemporain sous toutes ses formes : photographie, peinture, vidéo, architecture, sculpture… Il accueille chaque année de grandes expositions temporaires, des rencontres, des spectacles vivants… L'édifice est entouré d’un sublime jardin verdoyant baptisé "Theatrum Botanicum", dissimulant une faune et une flore exceptionnelles.

The transparent and reflective building designed by Jean Nouvel aims to promote contemporary art in all its forms: photography, painting, video, architecture, sculpture… Every year, it hosts large temporary exhibitions, meetings, live shows… The building is surrounded by a sublime green garden called "Theatrum Botanicum", concealing an exceptional fauna and flora.

Das von Jean Nouvel entworfene transparente und reflektierende Gebäude soll die zeitgenössische Kunst in all ihren Formen fördern: Fotografie, Malerei, Video, Architektur, Skulpturen? Jedes Jahr finden hier große temporäre Ausstellungen, Begegnungen und Aufführungen statt. Das Gebäude ist von einem wunderschönen grünen Garten umgeben, der als "Theatrum Botanicum" bezeichnet wird und eine außergewöhnliche Flora und Fauna beherbergt.
