Eglise – Saint-Vérand

L’église de Saint-Vérand est une petite église romane du Mâconnais, dominant le village et les vignes environnantes, dont le cru célèbre porte le nom. Elle aurait été construite au XIIe siècle et remaniée à l’époque gothique flamboyante.

The church in Saint-Vérand is a small Romanesque church of the Mâconnais, overlooking the village and the surrounding vineyards, whose famous vintage bears the name. It’s said to have been built in the 12th century and modified in the flamboyant Gothic period.
