Eglise Saint Pierre – La Croisille-sur-Briance

L’église de La Croisille a été construite au XIe siècle pour sa partie la plus ancienne : le chœur. Cependant la paroisse existait très probablement depuis l’époque carolingienne. Le clocher porche a été édifié au XIXe, la nef et la chapelle datent du début XXe. Les vitraux figuratifs apportent un bel éclairage et agrémentent la visite.

The oldest part of La Croisille church, the choir, was built in the 11th century. However, the parish has probably existed since Carolingian times. The porch bell tower was built in the 19th century, while the nave and chapel date from the early 20th century. Figurative stained-glass windows provide a beautiful backdrop to the visit.
