Eglise Saint-Jean-Baptiste – Le Monteil

Jusqu'en 1903, le hameau de Chastel-Marlhac est siège de paroisse et chef-lieu de commune. Trouvant l'église paroissiale un peu lointaine, les habitants du Monteil et des environs proposent la construction d'une autre église.

Until 1903, the hamlet of Chastel-Marlhac was the parish seat and administrative center of the commune. Finding the parish church a little remote, the inhabitants of Le Monteil and the surrounding area proposed the construction of another church.

Bis 1903 war der Weiler Chastel-Marlhac Sitz der Pfarrei und Hauptort der Gemeinde. Da sie die Pfarrkirche etwas weit entfernt fanden, schlugen die Bewohner von Le Monteil und Umgebung den Bau einer anderen Kirche vor.
