Description
L'église Saint-Jean-Baptiste est de style gothique, bâtie en schiste noir rehaussé de grès rouge. Son clocher carré et massif, fortifié de mâchicoulis, lui donne un aspect de forteresse. Au sud, s'ouvre une porte de style typiquement limousin, garnie de minces moulures cylindriques, avec une voussure interne polylobée. L'intérieur renferme 3 retables du XVIIe siècle qui seraient l'oeuvre des frères Duhamel. Accès libre.

Saint-Jean-Baptiste church is built in Gothic style, in black schist enhanced by red sandstone. Its massive square bell tower, fortified with machicolations, gives it a fortress-like appearance. To the south, a typically Limousin-style doorway opens, trimmed with slender cylindrical mouldings and a poly-lobed inner arch. The interior features 3 17th-century altarpieces by the Duhamel brothers. Free admission.

Die Kirche Saint-Jean-Baptiste wurde im gotischen Stil aus schwarzem Schiefer mit rotem Sandstein erbaut. Der massive, quadratische Glockenturm mit Maschikulis verleiht ihr ein festungsähnliches Aussehen. Im Süden öffnet sich ein Tor im typischen Limousin-Stil, das mit dünnen zylindrischen Leisten und einer mehrfach geteilten Innenwölbung versehen ist. Im Inneren befinden sich drei Altarbilder aus dem 17. Jahrhundert, die von den Brüdern Duhamel stammen sollen. Freier Zugang.

De massieve vierkante klokkentoren, versterkt met machicoulis, geeft de kerk een vestingachtige uitstraling. La iglesia Saint-Jean-Baptiste es de estilo gótico, construida en esquisto negro realzado con arenisca roja. Su macizo campanario cuadrado, fortificado con matacanes, le da un aspecto de fortaleza. Al sur se abre una portada típicamente lemosina, decorada con finas molduras cilíndricas y un arco interior polilobulado. En el interior se conservan 3 retablos del siglo XVII, supuestamente obra de los hermanos Duhamel. Entrada gratuita.

Il massiccio campanile a pianta quadrata, munito di caditoie, le conferisce un aspetto di fortezza. A sud si apre un portale in stile limosino, decorato con sottili modanature cilindriche e un arco interno polilobato. L'interno contiene 3 pale d'altare del XVII secolo che si dice siano opera dei fratelli Duhamel. Ingresso libero.
