Cimetière de la Guillotière

Le cimetière fut construit en 1859 (en bordure du 8° arrondissement) pour agrandir l’ancien de 1822 selon un tracé radioconcentrique, il recèle de multiples richesses historiques et architecturales. S'y trouve le "jardin du souvenir", de la mémoire.

The cemetery was built in 1859 (on the edge of the 8th arrondissement) to extend the old cemetery from 1822 based on a radio-concentric layout: it houses a host of historical and architectural treasures. It is the home to the “garden of remembrance”.

Der Friedhof wurde 1859 (am Rande des 8. Arrondissements) angelegt, um den alten Friedhof von 1822 nach einem radiokonzentrischen Muster zu erweitern. Er birgt zahlreiche historische und architektonische Schätze. Auf dem Friedhof befindet sich der "jardin du souvenir", der Garten der Erinnerung.
