Château de Parenty – Parenty

En plein centre du bourg de Parenty, s'élève un château bâti en pierre blanche, en 1785, par Marie-Gaspard-François-Gédéon le Vasseur. La demeure, classée monument historique, a été en effet édifiée à la fin du règne de Louis XVI, quelques années avant la révolution. Le château se transmit par alliance aux familles de Bavre en 1813, et Leroy de Méricourt, puis en 1898 à la famille du Blaisel dont les descendants l'occupent aujourd'hui. Domaine privé, le château est exceptionnellement ouvert au public lors d'évènements bien spécifiques organisés sur le territoire comme "Patrimoine et jardins ouverts" qui a lieu chaque année en juillet.

In 1785, Marie-Gaspard-François-Gédéon le Vasseur built a white stone château in the center of the village of Parenty. This listed historic monument was built at the end of the reign of Louis XVI, a few years before the French Revolution. The château passed by marriage to the de Bavre family in 1813, and to the Leroy de Méricourt family, then in 1898 to the du Blaisel family, whose descendants occupy it today. A private estate, the château is exceptionally open to the public for special events organized in the area, such as the "Patrimoine et jardins ouverts" (Heritage and Open Gardens) event held every year in July.

Im Zentrum des Dorfes Parenty steht ein Schloss, das 1785 von Marie-Gaspard-François-Gédéon le Vasseur aus weißem Stein erbaut wurde. Das denkmalgeschützte Gebäude wurde gegen Ende der Herrschaft Ludwigs XVI. und damit einige Jahre vor der Revolution errichtet. Durch Heirat ging das Schloss 1813 an die Familien de Bavre und Leroy de Méricourt und 1898 an die Familie du Blaisel über, deren Nachkommen es heute bewohnen. Das Schloss befindet sich in Privatbesitz und ist ausnahmsweise für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich, wenn in der Region ganz bestimmte Veranstaltungen stattfinden, wie z. B. "Patrimoine et jardins ouverts" (Offenes Kulturerbe und offene Gärten), die jedes Jahr im Juli veranstaltet werden.

Marie-Gaspard-François-Gédéon le Vasseur bouwde in 1785 een witstenen kasteel in het centrum van Parenty. Dit geklasseerde historische monument werd gebouwd aan het einde van de regeerperiode van Louis XVI, enkele jaren voor de Revolutie. Het kasteel ging door huwelijk over naar de families de Bavre en Leroy de Méricourt in 1813 en vervolgens in 1898 naar de familie du Blaisel, wiens nakomelingen het vandaag de dag bewonen. Hoewel het kasteel privé-eigendom is, is het uitzonderlijk open voor het publiek tijdens speciale evenementen die in de omgeving worden georganiseerd, zoals het festival "Patrimoine et jardins ouverts" (Erfgoed en Open Tuinen) dat elk jaar in juli wordt gehouden.

En 1813, el castillo pasó por matrimonio a las familias de Bavre y Leroy de Méricourt, y en 1898 a la familia du Blaisel, cuyos descendientes lo ocupan en la actualidad. Aunque es de propiedad privada, el castillo se abre excepcionalmente al público durante los eventos especiales que se organizan en la zona, como el festival "Patrimoine et jardins ouverts" (Patrimonio y jardines abiertos) que se celebra todos los años en julio.
