Création de sculptures en bronze et en terre, réalisations sur commande et cours de modelage figuratif pour adultes dans son atelier à Plouha. Comment explorer l’infini, en ne faisant que passer ? Si les arts sont le plus sûr moyen de se dérober au monde, ils sont aussi le plus sûr moyen de s’unir avec lui.. Chacune de mes sculptures, animalière ou non, immortalise dans le bronze un sentiment profondément humain. Palper l’immuabilité du ressenti permet l’approche d’un monde intemporel, où l’éternité se fait rassurante. Si chevaux, lions, licornes, pégases et autres créatures font partie intégrante de mon univers artistique, c’est probablement autant pour contribuer à l’esthétique des mises en scène qu’exige un style très figuratif, que pour leur puissant pouvoir symbolique. Mon envie de créer vient toujours suite à un rêve éveillé, une image qui vient et qui reste. Cet imaginaire est mon unique guide, et s’il n’est pas toujours facile à suivre, je lui ai promis une fidélité absolue.

Wenn die Künste das sicherste Mittel sind, sich der Welt zu entziehen, sind sie auch das sicherste Mittel, sich mit ihr zu vereinen… Jede meiner Skulpturen, ob Tier oder nicht, verewigt in Bronze ein zutiefst menschliches Gefühl. Die Unveränderlichkeit des Gefühls zu ertasten, ermöglicht die Annäherung an eine zeitlose Welt, in der sich die Ewigkeit beruhigend auswirkt. Pferde, Löwen, Einhörner, Pegasus und andere Kreaturen sind fester Bestandteil meines künstlerischen Universums, aber wahrscheinlich nicht nur, weil sie zur Ästhetik der Inszenierungen beitragen, die ein sehr figurativer Stil erfordert, sondern auch wegen ihrer starken Symbolkraft. Meine Lust am Schaffen entsteht immer nach einem Tagtraum, einem Bild, das kommt und bleibt. Diese Vorstellung ist meine einzige Richtschnur, und auch wenn es nicht immer leicht ist, ihr zu folgen, habe ich ihr absolute Treue versprochen.

Als paarden, leeuwen, eenhoorns, pegasus en andere wezens integraal deel uitmaken van mijn artistieke universum, is dat waarschijnlijk evenzeer om bij te dragen tot de esthetiek van de decors die een zeer figuratieve stijl vereist, als om hun krachtige symbolische kracht. Mijn verlangen om te creëren komt altijd voort uit een wakkere droom, een beeld dat komt en blijft. Deze verbeelding is mijn enige leidraad, en al is ze niet altijd gemakkelijk te volgen, ik heb beloofd er absoluut trouw aan te zijn.

Mi deseo de crear siempre viene de un sueño despierto, una imagen que viene y se queda. Esta imaginación es mi única guía, y si no es siempre fácil de seguir, he prometido ser absolutamente fiel a ella.
