Welcome to Bastide Castella, a residence rich in history nestled in the heart of the historic Aiguelongue district, the green lung of Montpellier. Overlooking the majestic Château de Castelnau, it stands proudly on the right bank of the Lez, within the Lez Reserve, and is in close proximity to Parc du Lunaret and Parc Domaine de Méric. These locales, once favored by the Impressionists under the influence of their patron, the artist Frédéric Bazille, imbue Bastide with a distinctive charm. Prior to its transformation into an exquisite bed & breakfast, the Bastide served as the annex to the Comte de Castelnau. This historically rich residence traces its origins back to the late 18th century, serving as a haven of tranquility and inspiration that played a pivotal role in Montpellier's cultural and economic revival. Once home to the visionary architects shaping the city, Bastide Castella witnessed Montpellier's evolution into a natural, vibrant, and harmonious metropolis.
