FESTIVAL AVIGNON OFF 2024 L’épopée de Pénélope est l’Odyssée d’Ulysse vécue par son épouse. Pénélope attend Ulysse, son cher mari, depuis vingt ans. Pendant ce temps elle tricote des paniers entiers de pelotes. Elle parle à son chat Claude. Elle écoute la radio, surtout l’horoscope. Mais un jour en tirant sur son fil, un poisson en laine frétille au bout de l’aiguille à tricoter… Spectacle de marionnettes, accordéon et chant à trois voix où Pénélope va raccommoder la mer à sa manière et reprendre les mailles de sa vie.

AVIGNON OFF 2024 FESTIVAL Penelope?s epic is Ulysses? Odyssey as seen through the eyes of his wife. Penelope has been waiting for Ulysses, her beloved husband, for twenty years. All the while, she knits baskets of balls of yarn. She talks to her cat Claude. She listens to the radio, especially the horoscope. But one day, while pulling on her yarn, a woollen fish wriggles at the end of the knitting needle? A three-part show featuring puppets, accordion and song, in which Penelope mends the sea in her own way and picks up the threads of her life.

FESTIVAL AVIGNON OFF 2024 Das Epos der Penelope ist die Odyssee des Odysseus, die von seiner Frau erlebt wird. Penelope wartet seit zwanzig Jahren auf Odysseus, ihren geliebten Ehemann. In dieser Zeit strickt sie ganze Körbe voller Knäuel. Sie spricht mit ihrer Katze Claude. Sie hört Radio, vor allem das Horoskop. Doch eines Tages, als sie an ihrem Faden zieht, zappelt ein Fisch aus Wolle an der Spitze der Stricknadel In einer Aufführung mit Puppen, Akkordeon und dreistimmigem Gesang flickt Penelope das Meer auf ihre Weise und nimmt die Maschen ihres Lebens wieder auf.

FESTIVAL AVIGNON OFF 2024 Het epos van Penelope is de Odyssee van Odysseus gezien door de ogen van zijn vrouw. Penelope wacht al twintig jaar op Odysseus, haar geliefde echtgenoot. Al die tijd breit ze manden vol bollen garen. Ze praat met haar kat Claude. Ze luistert naar de radio, vooral naar de horoscoop. Maar op een dag, als ze aan haar garen trekt, fladdert er een wollen vis aan het einde van de breinaald? Een voorstelling met poppen, accordeon en driestemmige zang, waarin Penelope op haar eigen manier de zee repareert en de draad van haar leven weer oppakt.

Mientras tanto, teje cestos de ovillos de lana. Habla con su gato Claude. Escucha la radio, sobre todo el horóscopo. Pero un día, mientras tira del hilo, un pez de lana revolotea al final de la aguja de tejer.. Un espectáculo con marionetas, acordeón y canto a tres voces, en el que Penélope repara el mar a su manera y retoma los hilos de su vida.

Nel frattempo lavora a maglia cesti di gomitoli. Parla con il suo gatto Claude. Ascolta la radio, soprattutto l'oroscopo. Ma un giorno, mentre tira il filo, un pesce di lana svolazza all'estremità dell'ago da maglia? Uno spettacolo con pupazzi, fisarmonica e canto a tre voci, in cui Penelope ripara il mare a modo suo e riprende i fili della sua vita.
