Les mises en scène développées offrent au premier regard une esthétique de « photos de mariage » mais leur appréhension au plus près dévoile une production cathartique liée aux violences sexuelles qui s’opèrent à bas bruit dans l’intimité. Les titres, les textes pseudoscientifiques au ton grinçant, rattachés aux œuvres permettent un recul nécessaire vis à vis des rapports de domination et des violences in humanistes évoquées.

Dominants/dominées brings together large-format Indian ink drawings, sound and soundless installations and assemblage sculptures. At first glance, these stagings seem like "wedding photos", but a closer look reveals a cathartic production linked to the sexual violence that goes on quietly in the privacy of the home. The titles and gritty, pseudo-scientific texts attached to the works provide the necessary distance from the relationships of domination and inhuman violence evoked.
