La Médiathèque de Chambray-lès-Tours accueille Koye, artiste peintre, illustrateur et muraliste, à l’occasion de l’exposition "Joyeuse Mélancolie" qui lui est consacrée. Entre ombre et lumière, l’artiste explore les liens entre l'Homme et la Nature, utilisant la figure animale comme un symbole, une métaphore des sentiments humains. À travers une sélection d’œuvres où couleurs vives et nuances sourdes cohabitent avec tendresse, l’artiste donnent forme à une émotion complexe : la mélancolie, non pas comme tristesse pure, mais comme un état suspendu entre souvenir et espérance. Il cherche à capter des fragments de pensées, des sentiments dans des compositions entre abstraction et figuration, qu’il met en scène de façon morcelée, à la manière d’une BD déstructurée.

Between light and shadow, the artist explores the links between Man and Nature, using the animal figure as a symbol, a metaphor for human feelings. Through a selection of works in which bright colors and muted nuances coexist with tenderness, the artist gives form to a complex emotion: melancholy, not as pure sadness, but as a state suspended between memory and hope. He seeks to capture fragments of thought and feeling in compositions somewhere between abstract and figurative, which he stages in a fragmented, comic-book-like fashion.

Die Mediathek in Chambray-lès-Tours empfängt den Maler, Illustrator und Wandmaler Koye anlässlich der Ausstellung "Joyeuse Mélancolie", die ihm gewidmet ist. Zwischen Licht und Schatten erforscht der Künstler die Beziehungen zwischen Mensch und Natur, indem er Tierfiguren als Symbol und Metapher für menschliche Gefühle verwendet.
