There is no longer any need to decide, like psychologists, between REM or slow-wave sleep to know that the night is filled with phantasmagoria where reality merges with the absurd. And to each his own actors, because to construct these buried dramas where anxieties and fears, desires and ambitions are played out, we must invent the necessary actors, sometimes human, sometimes much more hybrid! The choice is endless, as proposed by Anne-Sophie Gilloen, Coralie Courbet, Joëlle Gervais, and Cormac Boydell, our four artists who are as surprising for the poetry of their inventions as they are for their great diversity. Sweet dreams to all with the exhibition ‘Born of a Dream’!
