Exposition intitulée "Espèces refuge" avec les oeuvres de Sandra Gargowitsch et Johanna Elalouf. Sculpture, installation, art graphique, art textile. "Espèces refuge" est une exposition d'œuvres en céramique, papier et textile des artistes Sandra Gargowitsch et Johanna Elalouf, qui convoque le vivant. Toutes deux questionnent les mutations de la nature à l’ère de l’anthropocène, ainsi que la notion de forêt relique en biologie. Les espèces « relique » ou espèces fossiles désignent des espèces survivantes aujourd’hui dans les micro habitats restant d’un grand ensemble disparu, d’un milieu évanoui. Ces espèces sont le fruit de migrations et d’adaptations au fil du temps. Des œuvres comme des traces d’espèces en survivance, pour tenter de renouer avec le sauvage comme refuge salvateur et bienfaisant. >>> Sandra GARGOWITSCH est sculptrice et performeuse. Sa matière de prédilection est le grès qui offre un terrain d’exploration infini et des expériences sensorielles. En glaneuse, elle explore aussi les interactions entre matières : bois, pierre, fibres, métaux, tout ce qui se touche… Elle se laisse guider par les matières sensibles pour donner vie aux formes. Son travail s’inspire avant tout du vivant en transformation, des textures et reliefs de la nature, quelle que soit l’échelle. De formation littéraire, la sculpture est revenue prendre toute sa place comme une matière poétique de gestes et de souffle. Terre-reine se veut écoute de la nature et de ses rythmes, recherche d’une plus grande harmonie entre humain et non-humain. >>> Johanna Elalouf est artiste plasticienne performeuse et vocaliste. Elle a créé Utopie en 2021 pour développer l’art de l’impression botanique sur papier et textile. Elle mène une réflexion abordant des enjeux sociétaux liés aux diversités culturelles, nous sensibilisant à l’écologie du geste relationnel à travers les arts textiles et la voix. Elle s’intéresse à la question de l’appartenance à la terre, aux frontières dedans-dehors de nos corps-paysage, aux mémoires, aux liens que l’on tisse d’exil en migration. A l’écriture comme geste, comme acte, comme le fil d’une prière à tisser entre soi et l’humanité. Son approche de la voix s’inspire du travail du Roy Hart théâtre. Elle crée des installations textiles, des coutures sonores, des expressions vocales parsemées d’écrits poétiques.

She founded Utopie en 2021 to develop the art of botanical printing on paper and textiles. Her work addresses societal issues linked to cultural diversity, raising awareness of the ecology of relational gesture through textile arts and voice. She is interested in the question of belonging to the land, in the boundaries between inside and outside our bodies-landscape, in memories, in the ties we weave from exile to migration. Writing as gesture, as act, as the thread of a prayer to be woven between self and humanity. Her approach to the voice is inspired by the work of Roy Hart Theater. She creates textile installations, sound seams and vocal expressions interspersed with poetic writings.

Sie interessiert sich für die Frage der Zugehörigkeit zur Erde, für die Grenzen zwischen Innen und Außen unserer Körper-Landschaft, für die Erinnerungen und die Verbindungen, die wir von Exil zu Migration knüpfen. Schreiben als Geste, als Akt, als Faden eines Gebets, der zwischen uns und der Menschheit gesponnen wird. Ihr Zugang zur Stimme ist von der Arbeit des Roy Hart Theaters inspiriert. Sie schafft Textilinstallationen, Klangnähte, Stimmausdrücke, die mit poetischen Schriften durchsetzt sind.
