The Office de Tourisme du Grand Pithiverais, in Pithiviers, is hosting an exhibition by Cathy Victoire, a painter with a free and sensitive career path. For over thirty years, she has combined creation and transmission in her RÊVE-ÉVASION studio in Ladon. Trained outside the academic framework, Cathy Victoire develops an instinctive style of painting, nourished by major influences such as Corot, Klimt, Turner, Van Gogh and Zao Wou-Ki. She freely explores techniques – oil, watercolor, dry pastel, acrylic, gouache – sometimes within the same work. Inspired by nature and walking, her work features landscapes, skies and flowers, with a constant intention: to offer a moment of dream, gentleness and escape.
