Mù est un projet instrumental post-rock porté par Boris Boublil, né de l’envie de créer un orchestre où se rencontrent mélodies simples et envoûtantes, textures électriques et acoustiques, dans un univers sans paroles qui laisse place à l’imaginaire. Inspiré par des figures comme Mark Hollis ou Nino Rota, Mù propose une musique contemplative, sensible et cinématographique, qui invite à la réflexion et à l’évasion. Le nom fait référence au continent mythique de Mu, une civilisation disparue, engloutie, symbolisant une utopie originelle. Ce mythe devient une métaphore : et si ce qui était caché sous la surface du monde révélait nos rêves, notre inconscient collectif, nos possibles ? Mù explore ainsi un territoire artistique où se croisent l’intime et l’universel, l’imaginaire et le réel, une invitation à la découverte d’un folklore intérieur.

Mù is a post-rock instrumental project led by Boris Boublil, born of the desire to create an orchestra where simple, bewitching melodies, electric and acoustic textures meet in a wordless universe that leaves room for the imagination. Inspired by the likes of Mark Hollis and Nino Rota, Mù's music is contemplative, sensitive and cinematic, inviting reflection and escape. The name refers to the mythical continent of Mu, a vanished, sunken civilization symbolizing an original utopia. This myth becomes a metaphor: what if what was hidden beneath the surface of the world revealed our dreams, our collective unconscious, our possibilities? In this way, Mù explores an artistic territory where the intimate and the universal, the imaginary and the real intersect, an invitation to discover an inner folklore.
