Conference on the theme of Costume Literature by Francine Le Brun, President of the UIPB. On July 10, 1871, a very fragile baby was born, and it was feared that he would not be viable: he was to become the immense writer of a work unique in its style and the breadth of its themes. We'll look at his family, his youthful friendships and his social connections. Gifted with an uncommonly analytical mind, all these encounters would feed into his major novel "A la recherche du temps perdu", comprising 7 volumes published between 1913 and 1927; a major reflection on time, emotional memory, love, jealousy and the functions of art.

Juli 1871 erblickte ein sehr zartes Baby das Licht der Welt, von dem man befürchtete, dass es nicht lebensfähig sein würde: Er sollte der große Schriftsteller eines Werkes werden, das in seinem Stil und der Breite seiner Themen einzigartig ist. Wir werden über seine Familie, seine Jugendfreundschaften und seine gesellschaftlichen Beziehungen berichten. Mit seinem außergewöhnlichen analytischen Geist nährten all diese Begegnungen sein großes Romanwerk "Auf der Suche nach der verlorenen Zeit", das aus sieben Bänden besteht, die zwischen 1913 und 1927 veröffentlicht wurden.

Il 10 luglio 1871 nasce un bambino molto fragile, di cui si temeva la non sopravvivenza: diventerà l'immenso scrittore di un'opera unica per stile e ampiezza di temi. Si parlerà della sua famiglia, delle sue amicizie giovanili e dei suoi contatti sociali. Dotati di una capacità di analisi fuori dal comune, tutti questi incontri confluiranno nel suo grande romanzo "Alla ricerca del tempo perduto", composto da 7 volumi pubblicati tra il 1913 e il 1927; una grande riflessione sul tempo, sulla memoria emotiva, sull'amore, sulla gelosia e sulle funzioni dell'arte.
