Mais c’est sans compter sur son optimisme, sa volonté et son autodérision que de spectateur il décide de devenir acteur. Drôle, émouvant, déroutant, ce spectacle interroge sur le regard des autres et la place du handicap dans la société. "Vous n'en sortirez pas indemne !" Durant sa grossesse, la maman de Fred s’est vue prescrire un "méchant médicament". A sa naissance, Fred n’est pas un bébé tout à fait comme les autres, Il a “quelques petits trucs en moins !’’ Pourtant, c’est sans compter sur sa persévérance, sa pugnacité et une bonne dose d’humour que Fred, le plus "normalement possible", va mordre la vie à pleines dents. "Sie werden nicht unversehrt aus dieser Situation herauskommen!" Während ihrer Schwangerschaft wurde Freds Mutter ein "böses Medikament" verschrieben. Bei seiner Geburt ist Fred kein ganz normales Baby, er hat "ein paar kleine Sachen weniger!''. Doch ohne auf seine Ausdauer, seine Hartnäckigkeit und eine gute Portion Humor zu zählen, beißt sich Fred, so "normal wie möglich", durch das Leben.
