Comme chaque année depuis plus de 20 ans, l'association des parents d'élèves de l'école publique de Saint Michel Chef Chef organise son grand vide-grenier sur la place du marché de Tharon. Cette manifestation qui est complète tous les ans avec 220 exposants et des milliers de visiteurs permet de subventionner des activités culturelles et sportives pour les enfants ainsi qu'un séjour à la montagne tous les deux ans.
