MAS DE MARTIN – Saint-Bauzille-de-Montmel

En Grand Pic Saint-Loup, en 2017, Marie Christine Florent décide de reprendre une domaine de vieilles pierres; charmant petit hameau qui tombait en désuétude et devait être racheté par un groupe de Hong-Kong. Forte de son attache à sa région, elle a décidé de reconstruire une gamme complète à partir d'un terroir d'exception qui ne demandait qu'à être exploité.

The Mas de Martin vineyard stretches over 19 hectares of gentle North-South facing slopes near the Pic Saint Loup. It is notable that this estate’s principles, whether cultural or wine-based, are non-chemical. Grape harvests are manual, wine production traditional. The wines, untreated and unfiltered, are matured for 9-18 months in oak casks prior to bottling. The complete range of wines: AOC Coteaux du Languedoc red, Grès de Montpellier red, Vin de Pays du Val de Montferrand red and rosé.

In 2017 besloot Marie Christine Florent een oud stenen domein over te nemen in Grand Pic Saint-Loup, een charmant gehuchtje dat in onbruik was geraakt en op het punt stond gekocht te worden door een groep uit Hong Kong. Omdat ze zo gehecht is aan haar streek, besloot ze om opnieuw een volledig gamma samen te stellen op basis van een uitzonderlijk terroir dat wachtte om te worden geëxploiteerd.
