Forgeron Louis Théobald – Laumesfeld

Louis Théobald est forgeron sculpteur. Il y a pris goût enfant lorsque son père, cultivateur, réparait ses outils sur leur forge. Louis se passionne pour le travail du fer, qu'il apprend de 14 à 17 ans, avant d'entreprendre une quête artistique en Afrique et en Asie. En 2005, il installe son atelier à Hargarten-lès-Laumesfeld. Il réalise des sculptures, inspirées de la mythologie celte. Le forgeron participe à des expositions et démonstrations en public. Son envie : transmettre son art et le respect de la matière aux générations futures.

Louis Théobald is a blacksmith and sculptor. He took a liking to it as a child when his father, a farmer, was repairing his tools on their forge. Louis is passionate about iron work, which he learns from 14 to 17 years, before undertaking an artistic quest in Africa and Asia. In 2005, he set up his workshop in Hargarten-lès-Laumesfeld. He creates sculptures, inspired by Celtic mythology. The blacksmith participates in exhibitions and public demonstrations. His desire: to transmit his art and respect for the material to future generations.

Louis Théobald ist Bildhauer und Schmied. Er kam schon als Kind auf den Geschmack, als sein Vater, ein Landwirt, seine Werkzeuge auf ihrer Schmiede reparierte. Louis begeisterte sich für die Arbeit mit Eisen, die er von 14 bis 17 Jahren erlernte, bevor er sich auf eine künstlerische Suche in Afrika und Asien begab. Im Jahr 2005 richtete er sein Atelier in Hargarten-lès-Laumesfeld ein. Er fertigt Skulpturen an, die von der keltischen Mythologie inspiriert sind. Der Schmied nimmt an Ausstellungen und öffentlichen Vorführungen teil. Sein Wunsch: seine Kunst und den Respekt vor dem Material an zukünftige Generationen weiterzugeben.
