Le halage de la Sarthe et Sablières – Écouflant

Entre terre et eaux située au cœur des Basses vallées angevines, Écouflant qui fait face à l'île Saint-Aubin est un ancien village de pêcheurs qui doit son nom à sa situation : à la confluence de la Vieille Maine, du Loir et de la Sarthe. La Sarthe est l'identité majeure d'Écouflant proposant des activités nautiques mais aussi des sites permettant d'allier détente, nature et aventure. ————— Information importante :  Le bac Pass'Sarthe permettant de traverser la Sarthe entre Écouflant et Cantenay-Épinard n'est pas fonctionnel. La reprise est prévue au printemps 2025.  —————- Points d'intérêt touristique – Le halage situé sur 6 kilomètres le long de la Sarthe est témoin de l'époque des transports fluviaux avec des vestiges d'anciennes bornes et passerelles. – Baignade, farniente, pique-nique vous attendent au Parc des Sablières. Des paysages de landes et de bois s'étendent sur près de 60 ha, le tout agrémenté d'étangs entourés de genêts. Between land and water, in the heart of the Basses vallées angevines, Écouflant, which faces Ile Saint-Aubin, is a former fishing village that owes its name to its location at the confluence of the Vieille Maine, Loir and Sarthe rivers. The Sarthe is Écouflant's major identity, offering water sports activities as well as sites where you can combine relaxation, nature and adventure. ————— Important information The Pass'Sarthe ferry that crosses the Sarthe between Écouflant and Cantenay-Épinard is not operational. Resumption is scheduled for spring 2025. —————- Tourist attractions – The 6-kilometer towpath along the Sarthe bears witness to the era of river transport, with the remains of ancient bollards and footbridges. – Swimming, lounging and picnicking await you at the Parc des Sablières. Écouflant ist ein ehemaliges Fischerdorf, das seinen Namen seiner Lage am Zusammenfluss von Vieille Maine, Loir und Sarthe verdankt. Die Wiederaufnahme ist für das Frühjahr 2025 geplant. —————- Punkte von touristischem Interesse – Der 6 km lange Treidelpfad entlang der Sarthe zeugt mit den Überresten alter Grenzsteine und Stege von der Zeit der Flussschifffahrt. – Baden, Faulenzen und Picknicks erwarten Sie im Parc des Sablières. Heide- und Waldlandschaften erstrecken sich über fast 60 ha und werden durch von Ginster umgebene Teiche aufgelockert. Écouflant, gelegen tussen land en water in het hart van de Basses Vallées Angevines, is een oud vissersdorp dat zijn naam dankt aan zijn ligging: aan de samenvloeiing van de Vieille Maine, de Loir en de Sarthe. De Sarthe is de belangrijkste identiteit van Écouflant en biedt activiteiten op het water en plekken waar je ontspanning, natuur en avontuur kunt combineren. ————— Belangrijke informatie: De Pass'Sarthe veerboot die de Sarthe oversteekt tussen Écouflant en Cantenay-Épinard is niet operationeel.
