Au début du règne de Louis XIV, le village ne figure plus sur la carte. Il sera reconstruit au XVIIIe siècle. L’ancien Presbytère qui jouxte la fontaine Saint Léger date de 1710. Montbouton a connu ensuite une forte croissance au XIXe siècle avec le développement des établissements Japy Frères tout proches.

At the beginning of the reign of Louis XIV, the village is no longer on the map. It was rebuilt in the 18th century. The old Presbytery which is next to the Saint Léger fountain dates from 1710. Montbouton then experienced a strong growth in the 19th century with the development of the nearby Japy Frères establishments.

Zu Beginn der Herrschaft Ludwigs XIV. ist das Dorf nicht mehr auf der Landkarte verzeichnet. Es wird im 18. Jahrhundert wieder aufgebaut. Das alte Pfarrhaus, das neben dem Brunnen Saint Léger steht, stammt aus dem Jahr 1710. Montbouton wuchs im 19. Jahrhundert stark an, als sich die nahegelegenen Japy Frères entwickelten.

Aan het begin van de regering van Lodewijk XIV stond het dorp niet meer op de kaart. Het werd herbouwd in de 18e eeuw. De oude pastorie naast de fontein Saint Léger dateert van 1710. Montbouton kende vervolgens een sterke groei in de 19e eeuw met de ontwikkeling van de nabijgelegen vestigingen van Japy Frères.
